I deleted all my other post as I had the dates all mixed up...I started doing the Joe Cross Juicing and ended my first 30 day reboot today...I have COPD and Diabetics ll...Was up to 232#...Sugar was 7.4...at my doctors visit yesterday I was 213# and sugar was 6.4... Smokey, my hubby does most of the work...ya clean the veggies and fruit...chop/mulch it up in the juicer. drink 8 to 16 oz. for breakfast and lunch...same for dinner or eat small serving of food...I feel great...My doctor is very happy...Also I was able to drop my insulin from 80+ units twice a day to 60 units twice a day...Stopped my noon insulin completely...So that is a 19 # loss so far...I amm doing another 30 day reboot starting tomorrow...Check this reboot out here on face book...Plus there is also groups on here...Lots of recipes for different juice drinks... Love Char <3

    Hello everyone,

Like many I am planning to start a juice fast in the near future. I have juiced before, but never followed any recipes and did not have much in place for support (aside from my wonderful Wife and kiddos). I am really hoping that some group support and sharing my journey with others will help to keep me motivated not only for the fast, but for long after I've reached my goals. I will post when I've officially entered Day 1. Any suggestions for favorite recipes would be greatly appreciated! Take care, Tim

Hi everyone. I just discovered Joe and his movies thanks to my son who has lost over 5 stone by juicing and now healthy eating. I'm starting tomorrow and a bit nervous as I've failed so many times in the past with every diet you can think of. I look forward to reading your stories and comments. I live alone and no support network as yet, hopefully that will change.

I have 5 days left of my month long reboot and I feel great. My energy is through the roof and I can do a world wind move from my old house to a new house. I would not of had the energy to do all this just a few weeks ago. I am burnt out on packing, but I am still going strong after doing this pack and move for 3 days now. We get to sleep at the new house tonight, and I am so grateful to the health benefit that juicing has given me to be able to make this move with out having to use my asthma medicine once or ache from arthritis pain. This is working for me and I am over joyed. I have found every fresh juice place along my travel to my new home. This whole thing has been an amazing adventure. I do find that i am having a hard time getting enough water. I just don't feel thirsty, but I know I've got to get it in some how. I have lost 6 more lbs. for a total of 12 lbs lost. It's not 40 lbs yet, but I went from a size 12 jeans to a size 9. So the scale can take a long walk of a short pier. I am getting the results I wanted and I am over the moon. I am now starting my shopping list for the next faze, lots of juicing and healthy raw foods. Plus meditation, yoga, walks, basket ball with my kiddos, and ridding my mountain bike everyday. My new mountain yard is also in need of care, so that will help me break a sweat too. I have been in this for my health, so I will also be seeing the Dr. in a few days with labs to see how my health stats look. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck everyone, and Happy juicing. Juice on!!!!!!!!

Day 3, I lost 6 pounds so far. I'm feeling better and have been walking a couple miles a day. I think I miss chewing most of all...hahaha. When I'm at work I get hungry at 330pm but continue to drink water until I get home.

This Friday I have to go to a conference and I'm prepared to bring my "juice bag" with me.

I think this is much easier living alone for sure.

I'm wishing all of you continued success. It's fun to see a change so quickly, even my skin is clearer.

And to all a good night,

    Kelly

Hello everyone! I just saw both films by Joe Cross and am really interested in this rebooting. My life is a mess and so is my diet and am not sure whether I'll get any support close myself, but am willing to give it a go, latest in may when I get rid of a bad job and back to my own flat (been living and eating at folks due to nasty circumstances). How do you start? What is the first step? What was the first juice you drank? Am slightly terrified, but eager :-)

    Hi Elina,

Get Joe's book "Reboot with Joe" it helped me out a lot. He says to drink red or orange in the morning and green at night.

Pick the ones that are more tastier to you then invent some. That's what I do.

    I wish you much luck.

Got juicer and now juicing... Everything. Plain carrot is my current favourite, but adding other things like celery. Due to other circumstances, not fasting at the moment but made veggie burgers from the veg 'leftovers' (or what is that dry matter called)... As Joe said, support is so important, but so is solitude and not being surrounded by people that cook and expect one to eat everyhting. Baby steps now... Getting to know juices :-)

    Day 16 begins

I wonder if everyone is experiencing the same as me. I drink 4 juices a day also one scoop of protein powder and although I feel I need to have a regular juice at my normal meal times, I have no hunger pains, my stomach does not growl...nothing. I feel fine but it is weird having no hunger. I plan on a 30 or 45 day juice fast, my health seems much improved, I am as sharp as they come at work, so I may continue until my BMI is back within normal range, I think that will be a 45 day fast going by my loss so far.

For those about to start here is a helpful tip:-)

One thing that I did was give my first juices the same base to make it easier. As follows apple cucumber carrot is a good base, add two more ingredients such as kale and ginger you have a green juice, add kale and orange you have a fruity juice etc. this helped initially to get started. Hope this helps, I am on day 15 and feel really great.

    It will simplify your start
