So I am thinking about my grocery list, as I am going shopping tomorrow and want to be prepared for food starting Monday. I am going to make a big vat of veggie soup, which, in addition to juice and some fruit, will be how I come off my 46 Day juice reboot Mon-Weds. I am also thinking a lot about what I'll bring on the plane Thursday as I head to Minnesota. I suspect I'll prepare a kale salad, so I can dress it beforehand and the kale won't get wilted. I am very excited to start making my own oil-free dressings... that was one of the most significant things I learned from Dr F's doc. I ate way too much olive oil thinking it was healthy! Anyway, I also plan to get some pre-made raw wraps from Lasson's, so I have something for dinner & lunch the next day, in case I don't have the opportunity to go grocery shopping right away when I land.

It's been 100 degrees here in LA all week, but it's snowing in Minnesota - whoopee!

Nice. My fast breaking will last 6 days since I've been going for 90+. I've been to the Lassen's in Los feliz and echo park. Here in SD we have Sprouts Market.

Day 1 - 1 cup of blueberry in my green qt then blend to break fast with a smoothie. If I feel good, then an apple in the afternoon. Still drink my juices

    Day 2 - Repeat day 1

Day 3 and 4 - Same as day 1 but add a large Leafy green only salad.

    Day 5 and 6
    - same as 3 and 4 - ok to add harder to digest vegetables like Broccoli, celery carrots, legumes

If all goes well on day 7 I can try to eat raw nuts then if it digests ok I'm good to go, if not, keep repeating day 5 and 6, then try a day 7 again.

Awesome plan. Yeah, we have Sprouts too, but I think the closest one is in Glassell Park. Funny you've been to Lassen's in LF - it's a 5 minute walk from my apt.

Is there a specific reason you are opting to transition on raw veggies, rather than cooked, which are easier to digest? I mean, I realize the raw veggies are more nutritious, but we'll still be juicing... just curious.

Basically need to tell my stomach to start producing more hcl again to breakdown food.

From Silver lake, I took sunset to hillhurst, to Los feliz to get to griffith park, that's when I stopped at that lassens, the other times I went to the echo park one.

Aw, that gang's all here! You can lose the weight iamFIT. I have about 25 more pounds to lose even though I am transitioning to plant based foods in a few days. We'll do it together!
