Hey Eeyore! You still plugging along? I've had some major set backs, but I'm still juicing and am on day 31 right now. Still having major digestive upsets (gurgling all day and diarrhea at least 6 times a day). How much more can even be in me? LOL. Hope you are doing well! I wish I could say I mastered juicing and eating, but I have not. But I'm always trying that has to count for something.

I'm working on Day-2 of 10-14 days of a juice cleanse. Seasonal allergies have whacked me in the head, but juicing, antihistamines and some exercise should do the trick.

Eeyore....I hope you're on the mend.

@katiejay Allergies are a pain! Try the Anti-Histamine Super Shot (a twist on the Ginger Shot) - 6cm Ginger, 1 Unwaxed Lemon, 1 Apple.

I am on the mend finally, yeah! I went back to work briefly on Tuesday but then fell asleep in a teleconference so have caved in to everyone telling me i went back too early and taken the rest of the week off. I have been having a juice/smoothie for breakfast and salads (easier now it is hot here) but i have been struggling with tiredness in the afternoon and some nausea so have been having other things too. Hoping to settle back in on the juicy juice wagon over the next couple of days - i am getting tired sitting on this plateau!! Glad you are back on the juicy wagon too!

So life keeps throwing things at me, i now seem to have shingles!! I'm having to take a shedload of meds so am incorporating solids and trying to stay true to the plant based path but there have been some slips. I've had to pull out of a work trip to Sweden which isn't helping the stress levels and i'm very very disappointed and frustrated not to be going to the most important customer conference of the year with my colleagues :(

But i have to look after me right? That's what eveyone keeps telling me and that's what i would tell anybody else in the same situation. I've been exhausted for months and in hindsight it was presumably my system fighting off the virus, so hopefully now, with good nutrients going in and the virus coming out, i will start to feel the benefits. I hope so anyways! I have started my morning with a smoothie of pineapple and apple and natural live yoghurt. Juice On!

I'm going to attempt to juice for the next three days...faithfully....and go from there.

If you didn't catch it first time round or if you want to watch it again, Jason Vale's Super Juice Me documentary is available to view free again this coming weekend. www.superjuiceme.com

So i finally sourced some fresh turmeric so will be trying that out later today. Jason Vale posted a recipe yesterday (1/4 large pineapple, 2 pears & a thumb of ginger) that i am craving like mad, but unfortunately i ran out of pineapples so couldn't juice it. I will be running out to get some today so i can make it later though!

I keep wasting avocados but i've read here somewhere that you can freeze them - just wondering how you go about that? Does anyone know?

    Happy Juicy Wednesday!

    Hi Eeyore!

Give this article a boo and you'll see how to do it. I detest wasting food, too. The arthritis in my left shoulder is bothering me today. It's always very rainy here in June...which is just around the corner and turmeric or not - the humidity and barometric pressure still gets to that particular joint. Due to that, I'm upping my turmeric today. I'm opting for doing my new yoga DVD today instead of heavy-duty cardio and weights - for the sake of my shoulder.

Enjoy your pineapple/pear/ginger juice. Sounds yummy.

I've had 2 good days - mostly juicing with lots of exercise. I would love to lose 20 pounds before I go to visit my sisters in July. We'll see what happens. I ordered a yoga dvd from amazon a couple of days ago and it arrived today. I'll be trying it when Rod and Faith go to bed.

Busy weekend here so far but i took time out this afternoon to juice up ready for tomorrow, as i'm out and about. I've been inspired by everyone's pictures of pretty juices in mason jars so have bought a few to pretty up my fridge. The ones of dubious colour will stay in the sigg flasks!! I have tried a few different combinations to normal but forgot to write down what i did, so reproducing them if they turn out well might be hit and miss! Only 2 weeks to go until i have a work thing in Sweden - hoping to go down a dress/pant size before then, which should be do-able. Juice On, Juice Happy!

Hi! I'd like to join this group. I'm starting a juice fast on Monday, May 26 and try to go for 30 days - if possible. My starting weight is 250. I'm not very happy with that number, but I know it will change.

Hi Dandelion - i like that handle! Your welcome, it definitely helps to post. I try and check in and read everyone's updates daily, they keep me motivated and it helps to know you are not on this road alone. Have you done this before? You'll wave bye bye to 250 in no time. Happy juicing!

I've done some juicing and have been following the boards here and thought it was time to take the plunge. What kind of job do you have that let's you travel to Sweden?

So my back is still giving me gyp. I didn't realise how many things you had to pick up off the floor during one day!! I've had to resort to more anti-inflammatories but am also taking turmeric to see that helps too. And i'm still swimming in melon, but it is delicious for breakfast!

I am one VERY PROUD AUNTIE! My nephew (6) and niece (5) visit a hospice every eight weeks or so (she has a genetic disorder) and last time they went they did some painting. The staff took one picture from each of them and framed them and entered them into a charity auction. Both pictures combined raised £5000 (yes i do mean that many zero's!). How AMAZING is that!!! Very humbling. #speachlessandamazed

Wow! And a very proud auntie you should be indeed.
