    Hey everyone,

    I'm starting Day 1 on the 7th

Webinar is tomorr at 4 pm

I've tried a cross fit class today…was pretty tough and I seriously doubt if I can cross fit and juice at the same time Excited to drop some adipose tissue. I'll be happy to lose 30 in 30 days.

    Good luck to all

The long awaited Day 1 is here! Had the water and carrot-apple-ginger juice. It made me really thirsty.

    Good luck everyone!

This will be my first reboot and I am glad I found a group that is doing the buildup to juicing first with raw foods...I have done other cleanses in the past and done well but not changed my lifestyle for long even though I felt so good eating clean and vegan...I will have an empty nest and my husband is also committed to better our eating lifestyle soooo here goes :)

I started a juice fast yesterday and now on Day 2 I'm running to the bathroom just about every hour even though I haven't managed to get in all of the juice/water recommended. My body is definitely shedding water! For the veteren juicers out there - - I'm assuming this gets better fairly quickly? Is there anything I should be doing differently?

I'm starting a 10 day fast tomorrow. Can't wait until Friday. But, I'm looking for support during the journey. I did a 10 day last year, but I wasn't working. It was easier to do it when I could be quiet and stay home. I started a second 10 day last September after I started a new job, but modified it by eating food at dinner and not juicing on the weekend. I lost 15 lbs over a 2 month period. But now I want to lose 10 lbs in 10 days to start. Then will probably do a modified fast afterward to get off another 10.

I began my prep for Aug 1st by quitting coffee today. I used to do one cup a day so going to zero didn't seem like a big deal. I felt a little tired in the afternoon but managed to get through.

That is a big step on quiting coffee. It's hard for a lot of folks to give up. Congrats.

Question re. shakes vs juicing: I have a shake a day (similar to a juice, usually cucumbers, apples/pears/berries, greens, some almonds, coconut water, etc. No milk/diary) but am cognizant of differences in the fibre intake + slow absorption. Still, with a shake, I'm not losing any nutrients, and I'm being filled up, so not craving other foods thru being hungry. What are people's thoughts on this?

I have also heard that not consuming the fibers allows the body to use the energy that would have been used for digestion on other things such as detoxing the body.

I took a long walk yesterday. It took about 4 hours with LOTS of water breaks, resting, and juicing. That was a big step since I have completely stopped exercising over the past few years. It was a hike on the appellation trail. The view was nice. I am trying to get ready any way I can for August 1st. I joined the local YWCA. My membership is not active until August 4th so between August 1st and 4th I will try to take small walks every day.

It's a bit challenging to work out during the first few days so it might just work out that your membership starts after a few days
