    Halfway Testimonial for Nick Oddo: (7-27-14)





    The other day I was feeling fatigued and grumpy. My almost-first thought was, "I bet I would feel better if I eat that salad I made." I ate the salad. I felt better. I had laughed when the salad thought popped into my head. Is Nick Oddo an effective Health Coach or a master of mind control? It's up to you to decide. That idea is actually another one of Nick's messages. During our first conversation, Nick said that he would remind me of what I already know. Believing that and applying it is key to success. It's also a relief to realize that I don't have to squeeze myself into someone else's plan. This is about me.

    So, halfway through ten sessions, I have lost weight. More importantly, I feel great and am enjoying a healthy expansive relationship with food. I actively choose my food, thoughts, and actions. Nick supports this process by recommending new foods, suggesting writing exercises, and digging into underlying mental and emotional dynamics. I, admittedly, have thought, "Nick is a pain in the ass!" Translation: "Damn, Nick is right. I have to change that." The bottom line for me is that I am willing to do the work and take an eyes-wide-open look at myself. I appreciate the nudging and company along the way.
