So my mom just called me at work to say that she invited my uncle over for Sunday dinner (I live with my mom since I separated from my husband 2 yrs ago, figured she needed the rent money) and asked me what would I like to eat. I said I'm juicing so have whatever you want. She replies how about ham and rice and beans you can eat the ham. I laughed and said no I'm juicing that means I'm only consuming veggies and fruit... I still don't think she gets what I'm doing.

    Good Afternoon All,

I am brand new here and very excited to give this juicing a try. I had read about it in a magazine and something about it really stuck with me.

Then yesterday I watched Joe's documentary and that really sealed the deal for me.

I am buying my juicer tomorrow (any advice on which one to buy for a newbie) and I plan on starting on Friday. I wanted to start then because my days off work are Sunday and Monday and in case I feel icky for the detox part I will be home.

I had a question, I love vegetables and I super love any kind of fruit but I am wondering if the veggies take over the juice or the fruit? If the veggies take over the juice does anyone have any good recipes that taste more on the fruity side? (For example, I can't stand the taste of tomato juice but I love tomatoes.)

I am a little worried because I don't really have anyone to guide me through this and so I am afraid I am going to be doing things wrong whether it be how much to drink or how to make the juices etc.

Any and all comments and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My husband said that he would do this with me. He by no means needs to lose any weight but he can definitely afford to be healthy so I do have his support in terms of not doing this alone.

I look forward to responses and meeting new people and making new friends.

Hi all! Just started my Reboot today but am having to improvise a bit so I don't give up completely. I have fibromyalgia and peripheral neuoropathy and all the meds were making me miserable! My doc agreed to pull the prescriptions and let me try juicing for 30 days! Best of luck to everyone! Let's do this!

Today is day four of juicing only and I'm down 6 pounds. Who knew that it could be so easy to get some weight off and feel so much better

no snow here!!! The news said it could happen this Sunday. Today is Day 11. I do fine all day then get home and crawl into bed as soon as possible. I'm struggling with the grill smell I face daily bc my bubble grills before I get home. I'm staying strong tho!
