Rebooting on Monday, any tips to prepare myself? Other than stocking the house with fruits and veggies!

Whew! It's been too long since I visited this site. Last Autumn and through the holiday season was a particularly stressful time for our family and I turned to my old friend food to cope. That just made matters worse. I'm feeling such a struggle to just get done what I have to each day and I find myself letting more and more go using excuses why I can't get it all done. The truth is, that I'm so out of shape and weighed down by poor food choices that I feel awful! I'm hoping to connect with other rebooters to help myself get motivated to do what needs to be done and take care of myself so that I can give more to my loved ones.

Summer with the kids is such a busy time! The more I can give the more they benefit. I hope y'all are enjoying the season and feeling well. Don't neglect to add a green juice to your day. It will give you a much needed energy boost :)

Hi. I'm on day 5. Is anyone else in here rebooting right now? This is my first time. My husband and I are doing it together, trying to decide how long to go with it. I have 3 kiddos.

Hi! Welcome to the group. We recently have been having a lull in conversation, but it will pick back up :) Congrats on you and your husband making 5 days. It's especially difficult with kids! :):):) I have juiced on and off all year. My support system is strictly online. What type of goals do y'all have with the juicing?

Hi! Heather. So glad you joined the group. I've rebooted 3 previous times. The most being for 14 days. I think I've finally gathered enough information, tried enough juice and set up a strong support system to succeed this time.

I've been wondering if I should buy "Fully Charged". I own his spiral bound book set of recipes. I'll stick it in my Amazon cart so I won't forget :)

As far as eating with the family. That one is tough! Thankfully my 2 yr old still need some guidance with his meal and I often choose to make hot broth so I'm having "soup" for dinner. It seems a bit more substantial (even though I know it's not) and savory is a good change of pace.

Let me know how it goes at the book signing. I hope to keep chatting with you along your journey. Best wish for much success :)

Thank you so much for your response Nini! I finished "Fully Charged" today. It aswers all of those questions about what happens after I reboot. How do I keep going with this new lifestyle? Very helpful! It sounds like you have everything in place this time. Best of luck and anytime you need to talk just send a message. :)

Hello! I'm new to the goup. My name is Heather and I am a Mom of 3 boys 2,8,11. This is my 3rd attempt to reboot and stick with a plant based diet afterwards. I am a vegetarian but I love chips and sweets. I think I need the community support and encouragement. One of the most difficult things for me is watching everyone in my family eat while I am juicing. Any advice would be welcome! I am here to support you all also :) Juice On! I am so excited. I will be going to Joe's book signing on June 14th! I am half way through Fully Charged. What an amazing book. It hits home.

Hi, me! and anyone else still checking out this group :) I'm finishing up Day 6 of a reboot. My 2 yr old loves the juice I make that has fruit in it. I plan on making popsicles out of the juice this summer for a cold treat.

No more excuses! My son is growing up fast and needs his Mama to set a good example for him. Good luck to all still rebooting. Juice on!
