I will be starting a juice feast Monday the 26th a couple of days after we get back. We have to leave early for the airport as the Amgen tour is going down our main route and we will have no way to get around them. Plus the end of our street is a place people will be gathering to view the racers.

I have been getting the same message with long posts. And they are not even long. I think they are doing something here. I have been in San Luis Obispo fr the last week took my nieces and a boyfriend out and about, we hiked one day in Montana De Oro along the cliffs saw a lot of wildlife there as well. It is a long hike so it was most of the day then we went out to lunch. Another day we went to visit Piedras Blancas Light house that was a long trip we got there in the nick of time and headed out on the tour. It lasted 2 hours, then we went to see the elephant seals along the beach for another hour of walking along the fence and taking pictures, then out to lunch at Moonstone Beach. We drove through Cambria but did not stop to shop. I then dropped them off at my parents house and went to get my oil changed. That was my last day. We made dinner at my parent's house on Cinco De Mayo, and i made a Mexican corn salad which was in the lane and my mom made another salad with green beans, potato chunks and lots of veggies so those were in the lane for me, so that is what I ate.

I am heading to AZ to pick out the flooring and granite for the new house plus look around at other fixtures we leave Monday so I am trying like crazy to get the garden in this weekend I wheel hoed a lot of it yesterday, and hope to get it done tomorrow I have plants out in the sun acclimating to the area that I want to plant tomorrow, i dragged them out of the greenhouse and my put greenhouse covers over them while I am gone we will see i wish I had someone here to check on everything while we are gone! .

The last 2 weeks I've have a lot of pomegranate seeds. A few years ago there was a vendor at the farmer's mkt that sold the juice. Will check that out one of these days. Good stuff.

    Don't see the cartoon.

Well, just checking in to say that my metabolism has officially stopped. Unbelievable how the body is always ready to add weight--there never seems to be any plateau with that. Imagine the scale just stuck at one weight after three days of eating more than usual. Yet, eating less, it just hunkers down and does not budge. Especially at 55 years old. I still don't believe I'm that old, but my metabolism believes I'm that old.

it happens, my metabolism can be so slow, and i plateau, weight loss, for every 3 kgs, that is around 7 pounds.so i decided not to let it affect me.not setting a target DATE TO LOSE SO MUCH AMOUNT OF POUNDS IN THIS MANY DAYS, HAS ALWAYS HELPED ME TO continue juicing, else it can be so frustrATING, EVEN DEPRESSING.

Hey iamFIT : I have days like that too (that I feel stressed out by the huge amount of thing I have to do). For me, If I start by making a list of what needs to be done and start by doing smaller thing I feel I can have things done way better.
