I am working from home this week due to some major office renovations. I thought it would help keep me distracted as I juice but I am finding the opposite to be true. But I drink glasses of juice, lots of water, broth and nibble on a celery stick which I am learning to like the taste of.

Yesterday I went to a Zumba class. I thought I would have no engery but I was surprise to see that I did.

Day 2 of juicing is here and I hope it goes as well as yesterday.

Thank-you iamFIT, I took that picture hiking with my nieces in Montana de Ora State Park on the cliffs in the San Luis Obispo area of California, on May 11.

Today begins Day 3! I do have to go to the store sometime today. I have a leftover Yumi juice for breakfast this morning so I decided to juice up that pineapple (at least half of it) this morning for 2 servings of Hawaiian Pear. I feel pretty good today I really had a stomach ache come on suddenly last night then ended up 3 x in the bathroom before bed time. I never had this result with a juice fast in the past! Makes me fear going too far from home today because I also had 2 episodes this morning. I suspect it is from the herbal supplements I bought to take with the juice fast, (herbs to improve cleansing of the organs), and the last one of the day is for the intestines. It did not bother me at all day 1, so we shall see if there are more problems or a recurrence tonight. My weigh is down 1.8 lbs today which is a drop of 5.2 lbs from my first weigh in but I suspect would be 3.2 lbs since I weighed in after drinking juice and water day 1. (Wish I hadn't done that.) Going to make juices this morning while drinking the last of my Yumi. Then I will see if I can get by until tomorrow to go to the store. I think I have enough ingredients to make 6 servings of juice 4-5 for today and 1-2 for tomorrow.

I am still walking, however I have had a lot of periods where it hasn't been as much as last year, I think I am behind where I was last year but I have had some really good days thanks to my fitbit. I get involved in a lot of challenges and i want to be at the top of the achievers! So far in the Run the Year challenge I have gone 1148.91 miles of the 2019 miles so I have 870.91 miles left to go. In the Amerithon Challenge (running across the U.S.) I have gone 2662.7 miles oft 3521 miles so I have 858.3 miles left to go. This one has no end date, and with the milage to go so close, I should finish close for both. Which is not a good thing as I get more lazy in the Winter months so i run/walk less. In both races, walking, bicycling, and running miles count to your total, and there is another spot where you can add in miles for exercise. I have been running and walking only.

Today is the start of day 2 my weight is down 3.4 lbs since yesterday, however I had had a 16 oz juice about 10 oz of lemon/ginger water and some plain water before I remembered I needed to weigh in so that would account for 2 of the 3.4 lbs. I am going for 20 days. I ended up not going to the store for the missing ingredients that I used in making an additional 2 servings of Mean Green. I substituted a whole but smaller butternut squash for a sweet potato I planned to use half but I knew if I didn't use the whole thing it would just go to waste. I doubled up on the strawberries, and added in an additional green apple to my yumi recipe I had 3 servings when it was done and drank the first with a little cinnamon stirred in, today I think I will try it with some nutmeg stirred in.

I got up almost 2 hrs ago and watched the news had my morning beverage, and walked around the house I am almost at 4,000 steps for the morning, the rain stopped about 1/2 hr ago but now the winds are back in the trees which may signal rain is on the return, it is supposed to be heavy until this afternoon and I hate to wait to walk if I do wait I have a hard time doing well.

You Go iamFIT! Yes the less you do the more you decline! You have a body if you don't use that muscle you will lose it! And didn't you feel proud of yourself when you finished up? I always do. I just hung around the house over the weekend and yesterday I went out for a jog/walk and I was dreading it, since I neglected to jog/walk for the last few weeks since I was at my parents and then in AZ. I was really glad I did it because now it will rain again for 2 days with lightening so I will have to do some walking between showers so as not to get caught out in the lightening.

Good Morning to all I am starting Day 1 today, I made 4 servings of Mean Green, and 2 of watermelon Fennel. I was going to make 2 other juices however I used up all of my kale on the Mean Green and I was short 1 sweet potato so will have to return to the store this afternoon. Heading out for a run/walk before the store. Today the weather is going to be dry and I plan to plant my kale starts today, and hope that nothing munches on them!

I've been reading about dehydration. Causes lots of medical problems. So, I just drank 33.8 oz of organic coconut water. I think it perked me up.

Yes, I heard a doctor on a podcast say that you should drink 1/2 oz of water for every pound that you weigh. It helps to keep you kidneys healthy, and most people eat a lot of processed foods with a lot of salt sugar and oils which makes the kidneys work harder. May be one reason that we see so many dialysis clinics popping up.
