Hi good to see you here! Have you seen the movie 'fat, sick and nearly dead?' You should really see it! On this website you also will find a lot of information about juice fasting. Personally I think waterfasting for one day won't be sufficiënt. By juice fasting you get all the nutrients you need, and because your body does not need to digest the food, it can spend his energy on healing.

I am on day 25 of my juice fast. I still have some flare ups and hope this is just detoxing. I can do fine with only 5 mg of Prednisone! Hope I can reduce the prednisone soon.

Good luck and you are welcome if you have any question :)

    Hello fellow sufferers,

I have RA since 2010. Have tried Methotrexate and biologics, but nothing worked so embarked on finding my own road to recovery. Any advice is very welcome. I live in Dublin, Ireland.

I am on day 18 now and feeling great, although still no significant improvement of my inflammations.

This is a very inspiring article of someone who juiced, changed his lifestyle and healed from arthritis psoriasis:

Hi, how are you feeling? I joined the group just now, but have fasted before and will do it in the nearest future. For me fast is like a miracle, but I fast on water. Maybe try doing only water for a day. Good luck.

What are the best juices if I want to reboot without too much of a cleansing crisis?

Hi here some news from me... I have been home in Holland last week and visited my rheumotologist. He was quite pessimistic about my condition, as I only use 5 mg Prednison a day and I have a lot of inflammations. The photos showed damage in my fingers and doctor says this process will continue if I don´t go on therapy. I should get another Biological (had two already that did not work). But therefore I should stay in Holland, this has to do with formal things like insurances etc.

When I was there I felt very bad, it was so cold and boring and my health got worse. I suffered more from the inflammations and also I felt short of breath, the air in Holland is so different then the air in Spain.

When I returned here in Spain I felt so much better immediately. I started Prednison higher dose for 2 weeks to reduce the inflammations temporary. The good weather here gives me such a better feeling. I have inflammations but here they seem to don´t bother me. Still I a affraid of the future. What if the damaging goes on and I become invalid?

Actually I really would like to start juicing now within a couple of weeks, as I believe it is the only option left other then the suggestion my doctor gave me. But there are so many doubts that come over me: what if it does not work? How can I manage juicing for a long time? I love cooking and eating food, drinking coffee... well, just get to set my mind up for it...

Almost over pneumonia and so getting ready to reboot again, starting Monday. Been eating lots of hardy winter soups to keep warm lately. Time to ease off the solids and back to liquid diet to clean out my body. Excellent spring cleaning. Easier now that sun is shining a bit more and those harsh bitter cold days are gone. Yay for Spring!

Wow, 16 years on Biologicals? How do you manage Marion? Does it help, and do you have side effects?
