I am done with my 21 days going on to 22 today and I feel great and have seen crazy results. I didn't weigh myself until the 21 days was over. It has become easy to juice at this point. I do miss food, but this reboot is worth it. I want to keep going until the end of the year. Keep juicing people.

Yes, well done. I'm glad to hear it's going so well that you've opted to continue. I've got a few days left on my 14 day feast (on day 12)...I've been toying with keeping it going. It's definitely gotten easier in the past few days.

Hey group, I am so happy to have found you! I started my cleanse on Black Friday and I am planning on going for 21 days. THE END IS NEAR!! I wish I had you guys around when I was going through the dark moments. But just as Juice2lose just said it has become a habit and I am seeing results!

Day 17 is almost over and the end is near. Even though I miss food, I am seeing results and juicing has just become a habit. I also have taken up cooking for my family and it doesn't tempt me one bit (probably because I am losing lbs) Especially after watching the documentary Fed Up. I highly recommend it for post-juicing eating plan. http://fedupmovie.com/#/page/home

Hi, just checking in. I have been offline because I am on vacation this week and when I am on vacation there is usually no reason to go on-line. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I have stuck to the juice fast but it is not easy keeping all those fruits and veggies stocked. I go to the store about 3 times per week and it is not cheap. I'll be back on line next week, when I am back to work. Hang in there everyone!!! We came this far we can keep going.

Thanks for posting these links Juice2Lose. I believe you have to take a "proof is in the pudding" approach to health given that there seems to be a lot of contradiction out there. I've done 2 10 day juice fasts before and I felt like I had great results that included losing weight, feeling better and people I hadn't seen for a while raving about how my skin seemed like it was glowing. In short, I got pretty much what was advertised so I'm a thumbs up. I can't speak for other people obviously and I don't have any credentials.

I read the first article and it seemed like the guy was praising the benefits of juicing more than actually laying out the issues. What I came away with was: People who do juice fasts tend to gain the weight back and tend to lose muscle mass. Those seem to be symptoms of any weight loss program whether you call it a diet or going to the gym. if you reach your goal and go back to your old ways the weight is bound to come back...its just cause and effect.

The second article was talking about FRUIT juice cleansing and I stopped reading when I read this in the first paragraph "Your brain's hunger signals are answered with a dump of fruit-juice sugar. And don't get any ideas-veggie-based-body cleanses aren't any healthier". That this person equates pure fructose with veggies disqualifies her to talk about this subject in my opinion.

    Anyway, hope this helps

Hey group. I hope it's not too late to jump on board. I just started my fast this Monday 12/7 and plan to go (at least) through the 21st.

    Good luck!

For those of you that are experienced juicers. I have run into a lot of articles that talk about the negative side effects of juicing. Lack of protein and certain nutrients, etc..... I feel great so far finishing up Day 12 but I get a little freaked out when I read these things. Can you share some advice.

hmm, I haven't seen these articles...care to post some links? I did a search of the interwebs and the only negative articles I saw were on sites like incrediblesmoothies dot com. I hope I'm not spoiling the surprise for anyone when I let slip that incrediblesmoothies dot com thinks that drinking smoothies is better for you than juicing ;)

I have read those articles and I think it is unhealthy to drink powder shakes for 21 days. If you are doing juice from real fruits and veggies then I think you should be OK. Like you I am also doing this cleanse and I feel great. I am waking up early feeling refreshed, I don't need coffee. I think the damage comes when people binge eat after they get off a cleanse.

Here's a juice recipe site I use when stumped on what to make...or just something new (unlike the juice I made this morning). It's so simple to use...just click on the fruits/vegs/nuts/spices you have on hand and click "find recipes" and up come a bunch of juices...I love the right sidebar...gives all the nutritional values so you can stay close to the 80/20 composition. Hope you find it useful: https://juicerecipes.com/ingredients/
