Today - same mission as yesterday - no random internet searches - no political conversations. I've already blown it on both accounts a few times and I've only been at work for 35 minutes - so, I'm restarting my work day...now. The goal is to be distraction free for the rest of my work day...peace and blessings.

I'm going to check out the 30 Day Guided Inflammation Reboot. Preventing inflammation in your body is the key to good health. That's my biggest interest in all this juicing.

I'm also going to change my photo today after I make today's batch. This photo doesn't look too appetizing to me. :) Maybe something in a nicer green color with a splash of watermelon. :)

DiAnn, reducing inflammation thru juicing has been key to my tremendous health gains. Much of my research during my juice journey has been focused on learning about inflammation, it's causes and effects, and learning how to nourish myself to support continued healing, including how to keep inflammation turned way down.

The inflammation focused Guided Reboot sounds like a fantastic idea!

So I took 2 days off from juice only. It wasn't that I was starving, I just HAD to chew for a bit, plus my salt cravings. So 2 days of green salads and my summer favorite.Tomato, cuke, and onion salad. Fresh tomatoes here are priced like gold due to the drought we have been experiencing, but boy o boy fresh are not even the same things they pass off at the supermarket.

I never realized how good vinegar can taste before...lol. I mean I liked it in the past, but it sure hit the spot. The dressing was vinegar and grape seed oil with spices.

Same amounts of water and 1 juice a day. Gained .5lbs Big deal.

Going for more juicing supplies tomorrow at the farmers market and Aldi. Back on the juice train to my destination!

Just a shout out to our newer members of this group. Where are you? Check in and give us an update good or bad.

You will never get a discouraging word here. If you did not stay with it and you want to start again we are here to support you. Don't give up!

Goals for today are to stay with my juice and smoothie - don't give in to "workplace food temptations" - get to the gym - and to limit distractions at work which primarily means no political talk and no random internet browsing. Let's see how it goes :)

Good for you Elias. Talking politics is asking for trouble in this years bizzaro race. I am starting at the gym myself on Monday.

So my fifteen day ended last night. I could of been more focused but I am continuing on and while on my own here I am still juicing in the morning, and in the fridge at work my juice is waiting :) - I find late night still a bit trying

    Hello everyone!!!!

Its day 5 since I have finished my 30 day reboot. During that 30 days I lost a total of 27 lbs. Since then I have love an additional 3 lbs from eating clean and exercising. I intermittent fast which is an eating schedule I use. So basically I eat all my foods during a certain time frame and fast for the rest. Basically I eat from 1pm to 8 pm daily and won't eat again until 1pm the next day. It is roughly a 16 hr fast with most of it being while I sleep. We fast all the time while we sleep so it's no problem at all. It just seems that i'm cutting out my breakfast which I rarely ate anyways. When I break my fast at 1pm I break it with a juice followed by some type of protein and a lot of veggies. I eat again about 4pm with would be a snack then i have dinner at about 6 -7 pm. I've lost 3 additional lbs and alot of fat around my belly from eating this way in one week. This is not a diet just a tool to aid in the weightloss battle. It's working great along with juicing. It also fits my schedule really well. I don't have to struggle to fit 6 meals in per day which i could never do.

    Juice on.....

I juiced my first watermelon today.

The pineapple created a big mess so I froze it. I'll see how that does. Can you juice things frozen? I've never tried.

  • Jim16

You can freeze it, but it has to thaw before juicing it. If you tried to juice ice you would get snow :)

My pineapple was mush. Was it too ripe?
