I thought I would share something I read some time ago, wish I could remember the source, but I will share. When a patient awakes from a coma one of the hardest issues that has to be conquered is the return to eating solid food, while in a coma a patient receives nutrition through an IV complete nutrition no solids, the reason it is difficult is because the body can adjust to no solids but full nutrition, the body adapts! Therefore a juice fast will get easier the body will stop craving solids as long as you are supplying nutrients.

The body is an amazing machine as long as we supply quality fuel.

    You 2 are awesome :-)

I start tomorrow, I ate too much bread today ughhh I wish I hadn't done that. Congratulations to Doctor and Tina for your fantastic sticktoitivity (willpower). I am a bit worried about starting tomorrow, but I am sure it will be okay. I did try the 5 day juice fast once before, I lasted 1 day lol...

So this time it's going to be different, we are all going to support each other and we are all going to succeed.

hey Mark!!! I have been there hah ha!! even if you have to just start juicing one meal per day, to get you ready, its better than nothing...I started juicing my breakfast and lunch over a month ago and lost ten pounds. It was also a great way to train my system for all meals to be juice.....which is still really hard. Don't worry, we got this!!

Yes having fasted 30 days previously I remember that the first few days are difficult however you have to dig deep for willpower and stay with it because it truly does get easier. I have done well today which is day 2, just juiced for the next 2 days, feeling empowered.

Hello all!!! I successfully made it to day three!!! I broke out in a mild rash yesterday before bed, but I hear that's normal. This morning I had a 22 oz cup of hot lemon water along with 24 oz of mean green juice. That was 2 hours ago and I feel good. I find the afternoons the most challenging so I packed more juice for work. I am also down 4 pounds!! I will see how the rest of the day goes and update tomorrow!!! Happy juicing!!!

day one fine at work trying to remember to drink lots of water. Just got home about to drink my fourth juice. So far so good, feel hungry however I remember from my last fast hunger decreases and comes in waves. Looking forward to moving swiftly through the first few days as I recall it gets easier after day three.

It does get incredibly easier after day four, last time I fasted for 30 days, that was about 18 months ago. I am determined to beat my 30 day record. Going to take a relaxing bath and go to bed. Roll on day 2
