Yeast issues

I am on day 6 and having aching sore muscles and symptoms of yeast problems (crusted over eyes in the morning, white tongue, itchy, rashes and of course achy). I am on nystatin for yeast overgrowth. The nystatin relieves the problems in part but I feel like crap most of the time. I take acetaminophen and ibuprofen in order to sleep (otherwise I am unable to get to sleep and stay asleep).

I am on a 80% veg and 20% fruit with extra garlic and/or ginger. But I am wondering if I am helping myself or hurting myself on this juice fast. Usually when I am having yeast problems I don't eat any sugar, no yeast, no vinegar and no fruit and with some help it goes away in a year or so. I had hoped that the juice fast would kick-start my immune system so that it could fight the yeast, how long should I give it before I stop.

With as deep an issue that this sounds like it may take a bit of time for the juice fast to work. Six days isn't very long. I am on day 5 and last night started to get pretty itchy and the yeast rash started manifesting itself. I dont have the overgrowth issue to the degree that it sounds like you do, but it is starting to work for me. The candida monsters are not liking what I'm trying to do to them is what I figure. I'm jsut going to stick with it and see what happens.
