Group Reboots

Wise or foolish idea??? Please help :)

Group Reboots

Posted by Quazza on 3 years ago

Hi all,

I'm getting nervous because I'm about to start my first ever reboot in my entire life (I'm 39). I have holiday (vacation) time coming up in two weeks, but I wanted to start my reboot next week on Thursday while I'm still at work. I am a high school teacher but I fortunately only teach 3 one hour lessons each day (so a total of three hours), even though I work full time and I'm at the school from 8am until 4:30 pm.

Does anyone see a problem if I started my juice fast on Thursday, even though I am working and I also have a one hour dentist appointment that evening? I would also be working on Friday and I have a 2 hour hair appointment on Friday evening as well. Then I'd obviously have the weekend free for days 3 & 4 of the fast.

The reason why I thought it might be a good idea to start on a Thursday while I am at work is that I thought that work would distract me so I wasn't thinking about food all the time.

I do have a major food addiction so I'm sure that my body is going to throw major temper tantrums. Is the first day of the fast easier than the second? Do you have to pee all the time on the first day or second day? Does this even out over time or will you always have to go to the bathroom? When do you finally get over the hunger pangs? Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

I wanted to avoid doing the juice fast on my holiday (vacation) time because I would have nothing to do but obsess about food. Thanks for your help!
