Will ginger induced heartburn improve?

I have been trying out the hot lemon and ginger water in the mornings. The ginger is giving me uncomfortable heartburn. Is this a symptom that will decrease with time or should I just give ginger a pass and go with just lemon water?

    Hi April,

I would try just the lemon for now and use ginger in very smalll amounts to start with in your juices during the day to help ease this issue. In time you may tolerate a small amount in the hot water with lemon but the lemon is also wonderful and great alone providing many benefits.
