surgery precautions?

I am having surgery on July 16. It will be a 4-hour surgery on my ankle and I will be in the hospital for a day. I want to do a juice fast now but should I stop it before the surgery and how long before if that is the case? Then, how long afterwards should I wait before starting another fast? I am currently on day 5 of the 10-day and I plan to go into the 15 day right afterwards.

    Dear AprilMarlene,

You can juice up until your surgery. It is always advisable to talk to your doctor and let them know what you are doing to ensure that they are aware.

Juicing post surgery is really when you feel ready to jump back into it.

Please let me know if you have any further questions and well done on your 5 days so far!
