Recovery from diseases

Reboot Newbies

Posted by schully27 on 4 years ago

Hi, I am currently on day 7 of a 15 day reboot in hopes of recovering from Hashimoto's. Have been very ill for the past year. Doctor's can't help me, they feel I must have something else as I am so ill but all the tests except Hashimoto's have been normal. I have been following gluten/sugar/dairy free diet since my diagnosis so now I am trying this. So far I don't feel any better (or any worse, except I am freezing cold and thirsty all the time).

Looking for some encouragement from others who can relate.

Thank you

Schully27, I had to look Hashimoto up. Hashimoto's disease is an autoimmune disorder in which your immune system creates antibodies that damage your thyroid gland. I hope your reboot is going well with only a few days left. I've found when I'm thirsty that's my body telling me it's dehydrated. I have close family and friends that have been sick for long periods of time, and multiple doctors can't give diagnosis. Most of them have figured out it is the food they eat that is the cause. I'm not saying that is true in every case or your case, but I think you are on the right track to finding out. In my case I found that "you are what you eat" is completely true. I hope you are finding this reboot a relief from your illness. Good luck! - AS

Thanks for the reply! I am currently on day 13/15 of juice only fast. Finding only a slight improvement in my energy but I will continue to juice, and fill my body with only powerful/healthy foods.
