Greetings Juicers and Newbie Rebooters. Just wanted to update everyone. As of November 2013, I have now lost 145 pounds and regained the health of my entire family with Daily Reboot Juicing and a Plant-Based Whole food eating lifestyle. I have been continually loosing about 5 pounds per month for 2 years now. I drink delicious veggie juice everyday and eat a primarily low-fat plant-based vegan diet. This lifestyle works and I am proof and proud of it! Juice for Weight Loss. Juice for Health. Juice for Life.

Whoo Hoo! Its my anniversary.........Two Year anniversary Story

    Greetings anyone interested.

It was one year ago to the month, when I started discussion topics on RWJ forums. Now I am 53 & still Juiced. I have continued to lose weight and regain my health. I started with a 3-day reboot in Sept. 2011, was honored to be featured in Sept 2012 Reboot with Joe profile blog: http://bit.ly/1czS3JJ

During and after 115 pound weight loss, I consumed daily vegetable juice and continued to eat one plant-based meal in the evening with my family. I added fruit & oatmeal for breakfast, snacked on nuts, carrots & hummus and would often have my ‘fancy’ raw chocolaty energy beverage with almond milk or fruit sorbet for a treat. I lost 145 lbs in two years to date - eating and drinking vegetables.

I only bought veggies and plant-based whole grains, beans & legumes (similar to Dr. Fuhrman “Eat to Live”). I cleaned out my cupboards and cleaned up my life. In the past year, my wife inadvertently lost 40 pounds and reversed a chronic debilitating bone / arthritis condition when she adopted daily vegetable juicing and Whole Foods Plant-based eating Lifestyle. Eating plant-based foods and drinking vegetable juices will in fact aid you to overcome food addictions and poor eating habits; like the excessive consumption of animal products including seafood, dairy, cheese, eggs, fat/sugar, and other nutrient deficient junk food, all which lead to obesity, heart disease, cancer and osteoporosis. This is the only lifestyle I have ever experienced which provided me with the benefits of no longer being ‘Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead’. I have made no excuses and experienced sustained extreme weight loss and regained my whole families health.

You too can do this! Incorporate plants, fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts & seeds and whole grains into your daily food consumption. Eat & Drink plants! :D

I started three days ago. The first day I felt great.

I am starting a busy Yoga work shop in one day. and work 12 hour days x 3 /week.I may start Juice only diet after yoga work shop, YogAlign.com Nov9-16th with Michaelle Edwards of Manayoga.com

On those days I am eating plant based vegetarian very limited dairy one dinner/meal with my family. I feel like I am cheating.

I can try drinking juice only during my Marathon work days and see what happens.

Hi Dan, what would you recommend for someone looking to juice for 90 days? It seems the plans only cover 30 days .Do you just keep restarting? Then follow a vegan diet thereafter. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for your question Jerome a. I would only suggest to plan for a 15 day as suggested on http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/rebooting/plans/ If you can complete that plan - then you should be able to comfortably continue. Just start with a 3-day.....then if that feels good, aim for 3 more days. I only ever did a 10-day reboot. However, I have incorporated juice into every day, plus eat more fruits & vegetables now. Even Phil Staples and Joe started with a small goal - then worked their way up to a 60-day. It is not about the length of time - it is about how you and your body accept the juice only regimen. It is different for each person, which is why I would only suggest starting slow with a 3-day and working your way up to a 15- day. When you have completed your reboot session, many eat food and regain any weight lost. After your reboot Check out http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/eating/
