No expert but this is my second juice fast went 17 days the first time and currently on day 8 on my 2nd reboot. The hunger thing went away pretty quick for me I would say by day 3 or 4. I have lost 13 lbs. so I would not say the juice is getting stored as well I have not pooped to much either. I would assume my body is using all that I am giving it so there is not much waste left. Although again I am not a doctor nor expert juicer.

Since you're not eating a lot of solid food, you won't have a lot of solid waste. that's perfectly normal. If you have 4-6 juices (16-20 oz) and enough water, at least 64 oz per day you probably won't feel hungry. I have to remember to drink enough water. Hope this helps.

That's normal and can last a week or so. Day 62 here and never have hunger pains, even when hungry. Might hear a grumble here and there if you are past your normal time for a juice but that's about it. Once your body adjusts you should have a normal poop schedule, just less of it.

I am currently on day 8, I started 223 and currently at 205. I thought that I lost a bit much in the first week, but I am not going to complain. I must say I feel great during the day. Days 1-2-3 were rough, smooth sailing after that. Good luck!

Ashley, hi and welcome! I am only on an official day three but have done the weening my way in part last week. I don't count that because those 5 days are to ween you off certain foods so the full tilt liquid part will be more bearable. Likely because I started drinking juices last week I am not particularly hungry. I think the toughest thing for me is quantity. I do three to four 12 oz drinks per day. That may be why you, and I, have a much different bathroom cycle that we are used to. So being hungry is actually good, have another drink. Did you print off the 15 day plan? It has breakfast, mid morning, lunch, mid afternoon, and dinner suggestions. That would be 5 if you religiously followed it. More bulk will help regulate you and keep you from getting hungry. What others have found, I've been reading much of this site, is come about week two they just get full pretty easily so they have to fight to remember to have something else to drink. Oh, one last thing about your body slipping into famine mode, so long as your stomach is regularly full, that won't happen. Remain active, or as active as you normally are. Your body will switch from burning glucose to burning fat. It's kind of like the Atkin's or Zone or South Beach diets in that regard. The body does not want to burn fat as that is the store for famine times. So this way you continue to get all the nutrients and vitamins you need, just not the 1800+ calories per day an adult woman needs. I hope that helps. Good luck, I am sure you will do fine and please keep us informed of your progress..this is also something of a support network too. It seems women tend to lose about 3/4 lb per day while men tend to lose 1 - 1 1/2 lbs per day. So if you need motivation, ponder those numbers... 1lb +/- per day. Walt
