PCOS- Juice Cleanse

Reboot Newbies

Posted by serena_f on 4 years ago Hey all, A bit about me. I'm 22 years old (soon to be 23) and I've put on way too much weight the past three years. When I was in college (and had a meal plan) my weight was under control. I've always struggled with weight, but my weight then was fine. About two years ago, I started to gain weight uncontrollably. I visited quite a few doctors, but I didn't receive any diagnosis. Last May, I visited a new doctor and explained my symptoms- weight gain, not much sleep, changes in cycle, acne. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and told by my doctor that I HAD to battle with this illness and lose weight. I decided I'd try the Paleo lifestyle and that helped a bit. After watching, "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead," I decided I'd try juicing. I started one day this past Monday but had to stop (I had to do bloodwork at the hospital). I'm now back on track as of yesterday. My goal is ten days, but I'd really love to do 30.
