Long Weekend Reboot Starting Tomorrow

Group Reboots

Posted by Teresa on 7 years ago I'm starting a long weekend reboot on Friday, July 6th. Wish me luck and let me know if you're doing the same. I would love a buddy or buddies to encourage each other as weekends, with relaxed schedules, tend to be the toughest times for me to stay focused on my good health and nutrition. Best wishes to all that have joined the reboot movement!

Hey Teresa, I'm starting it also tomorrow. I have just bought a juicer and I'm a first timer. I'm happy to be your buddy!

Super! Going shopping tonight for the groceries I'll need to juice. I bought a juicer last month after watching FSND for the first time - what an inspiration. I over indulged over the 4th of July holiday and really need to focus my efforts on getting back on track. It's amazing how, even a couple of days of not eating right can knock you off track. Plan on getting a good night's sleep tonight and getting up early in the morning with a long walk with the dog before it gets too hot, then I'll be mentally ready to start.

I would like to start a weekend reboot tomorrow! I have been juicing two times a day and eating one meal, for a few days now. I am a wife and mom of 2 young kids. I also watch 3 boys during the week. So my biggest struggle is having to make my husband and the kids food and wanting to eat what they do.

It has to be tough when you need to cook for others. My wife and daughter are away till Sunday so I figured this is the perfect time to do it. Not going to tell them until they get back!

Latasha & Jimmy R, thanks for joining me on this weekend journey to good health! Today's day one of our long weekend reboot. Yes, I agree, hard to do when all around you are enjoying their meals but just stay focused and we'll get through it. Hey, it's only for 3 days and we already took the first step to taking care of ourselves. I find that if I make my juice and actually sit at the dinner table with the family and drink it that I then feel like I'm not missing out on anything. After all meal time is more for the social enjoyment of spending time with those we love than the food itself. How are you doing?

Starting a little later (11am) due to work. my wife asked me why I went to the supermarket last night and I didn't tell her. She is away for the weekend. I weighed in at 228lbs this morning. Hope to lose something by Monday morning. Good luck Girls!

I just had the breakfast blend, not a huge fan of the ginger. Maybe I put too much.
