Juicing Pre & Post Operation???

FAQ

Posted by allyjo.frush on 5 years ago I am getting a tonsillectomy at the end of August. I wanted to do a 30 day fast this month. If I juice fast 2 weeks before my operation and 2 weeks after, do you think that is healthy for a recovery? I want to do it before hand because I want my body to be strong for the surgery and after because I want it to heal quickly. Plus since they are removing my tonsils I won?t be able to eat anyways and I feel like veggie juice is much better than chicken broth. What do you guys think? Do you think it will aid in prep and recovery or be possibly harmful? Please let me know, thanks. -AJ
