Reboot NewbiesPosted by tech101 on 3 months ago
I'm fairly new here (although several years back when I was still living in the United States I did a juice reboot based on Joe's documentary for a period of ~ 40 days). I've returned and I'm looking for suggestions.
I'm living abroad in Japan. Most people who have never been to Japan think that the Japanese diet is healthy and chocked full of seafood and vegetables. This isn't quite true. The Japanese Grocery stores have significantly limited vegetable and fruit choice when compared to the United States, and there is no shortage of fried food items and noodles\rice here in Japan. And what they do have in the Japanese Grocery Stores is quite expensive and very limited in quantity.
I work or the US Government and have a US Postal Mailing Address. Looking for alternatives to fresh vegetables to engage in a juice cleanse. I'm suffering from NALF (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease), and various other conditions, most likely as a result of my lifestyle.
Are there any mail-order solutions that could offer me something reasonably close to a juice cleanse without breaking the bank? I know that nothing is as good as fresh, organic produce. But in my current situation, I need something that's more easily accessible.
Thank's in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.
