I'm on day 2. Feel like quitting

Real Change

Posted by ThatGirlNeedsJuice on 3 years ago

Hi,

My name is Demessis (or Demi), I'm 25 yeas old and I started this juice fast yesterday weighing in at 355lbs.

Background: heavy since I was a child. I suffer from asthma, anemia, depression and abnormal uterine bleeding. Thank goodness that I haven't been diagnosed with high blood pressure, cholesterol or diabetes.

This morning I woke up feeling like crap. I'm starving and feel like crying.

Any advice? How do I keep motivated? How do I get over the hump?

Thanks in advance

How are you doing today? How was your diet just prior to starting the reboot?

I didn't eat a lot. Maybe 2 or 3 times a day, but I definitely was not healthy. I ate a lot of fast food and no fruits or veggies.

Today is the start of day 3 and I feel a little better.

it's halfway through day 3 && I have to say I already feel the pain easing. I still feel the hunger sensation but not as bad as before. The juice tastes like heaven to me and my mom commented that I looked better, so my spirits lifted. I am excited for the next 27 days ^.^

    Hey Demi,

A reboot off the bat like that sounds like a tough gig (I’d of cried too lol).

How do I stay motivated? I have both "Sick, Fat & Nearly Dead" movies. When I feel like giving up, I put one in the DVD Player and I get reenergized watching Joe. I love the Second movie, because of Phil's honesty in the process. This is a life long change, one day at a time....sometimes one minute at a time. I also get on this site and look for recipes with foods I've never tried before. I never had Fennel before until about 3 months ago (I'm 52). I love black licorice, and that's exactly what raw Fennel smells like! It's exciting to experiment with new foods! Make sure you are getting enough Juices and Water in too! Keep it up!!
