Hiccups and broth

I have never seen this before. We have broth every day now and my wife gets the hiccups every time that she has some. No other time of the day, just when she is drinking her broth. They don't last long. Seems that they are gone a few minutes after she is done with her broth. Just wondering if you have heard of this before?

    Dear huskereurocat,

No I haven't, not after broth but it can be related to food sensitivities but unless this happens with other foods I'm not entirely sure. Is she gulping it in an unusual manner? Follow this with a glass of water including apple cider vinegar (2 tsp.) and see if this stops it.
