Enema?

Ask the Nutritionist

Posted by youcanjuice on 6 years ago I read a few places that enemas are needed for fasts and some people recommend doing them for this fast, but is it really necessary? I would rather not. I did not have any withdrawal symptoms, except a little coordination problems, but I also haven't have very many BM. I've gone twice in the past 5 days (I'm on day 6), one was liquid and one was quite small. My stomach as makes quite a few gurgling noises, they are not hunger grumbles, but I figured they were from the veggie gas. Any advice or answers would be appreciated.

Hello youcanjuice, No you do not need to do enemas! Here is a post on constipation during your reboot http://www.jointhereboot.com/faq-what-about-constipation/ http://www.jointhereboot.com/juicing-and-digestive-upsets/ Let me know if you have any further questions!

Thanks! I do drink most of those veggies and fruits listed but I will be adding papaya. I also got some "smooth move" herbal tea. That helped a lot but I'd rather be regular without the help of it. I'll try having smaller glasses of juice and see if that helps.
