Day Number 3 - Reboot!

Group Reboots

Posted by justinaccess on 5 years ago

I'm at the end of day 3 of 30. I've lost 18 Lbs. Yay! I'm sure it's largely due to not going to fast food places and no soda. I've also been walking and trying to exercise more often.

I've heard it's good to drink different kinds of juices every day...Not to eat carrots every meal or celery and so forth. I'm concerned about juice variety and prep work on the go. Does it really matter. I was thinking of rotating the 5-day diet. Any issues with that.

Also, any suggestions on multivitamins? It sounds like I'll get quite a few from the Juices.

Friends! Thanks in advance!

Justin

WOW, that is great! I thought my 10lbs. in 7 days was awesome, but u have done well my friend. I kinda stopped in between due to holiday visit and authentic Mexican foods but I am starting again today. No stopping me now, not even New Years, all the more reason to go into the new year CLEAN! So, how often and what kind of exercise are you doing? I only lost about 2.something lbs on my second wk before I started eating.

Oh, if you go under the faq (s) you will c where it talks about stopping over the counter suppl. and meds. But, if you are taking prescribed meds, talk to your md first.

Thanks for the feedback Melissa! Keep going strong! :0)

I'm excited about the results. What an inspiration this program is! I'm not currently taking any prescriptions. I was just worried about vitamin deficiencies. My excercise is just walking outside for 30+ minutes with a little incline to get my heart rate up. Feels great to be outside even though it's cold.

It's kind of hard to believe that a person can actually be healthy or getting healthy from just drinking and loosing a lot of weight in such a short time. I would like to have you as a friend and keep up with your results if you don't mind?

Wow well done justinaccess !! I am starting day 3 today .....fortunately hubby rebooting too ...and we have lost 2.8 -and 4kg respectively ....but your result is amazing :) have struggled with headaches but determined to hang in there. As far as vitamins go I believe you don't need them while juicing :) will add you too as a friend if I may to monitor your progress ...

You know Jeannie, the only down side to my situation is... I wish my husband would join me but he says he loves food too much and says that I am the stronger one. He will do the "taste test" thing, but refuses to stop eating. My son wants to join but he's too young for the reboot, so I make them juices here and there. Good Luck to you both!

That is so hard I don't know if I could have done this without him as he doesn't cook at all and I am a real foodie and would not be able to resist tasting !! So will really be rooting for you and hope he decides to join when he sees how amazing you start to look ....good luck and go for it :)

Melissa...It's strange because this afternoon I weighed in 6 lbs more. My weight is fluctuating becuase it's the same scale. I'm wondering if it depends on the time of day. I think I had a big weight loss because I was eating so badly before. I was constantly eathing fast food on the go and drank a lot of pop.

This is also going to be a lifestyle change for me. I've heard the best time to weigh in is in the morning before meals. Any ideas?

Jeannie that's great that you have support from your husband. I only have the support of a few friends Melissa but it all helps. I've been around my parents and relatives for the holidays and they have been having huge meals and desserts. This is where the true test lies. It's not that they don't want to help...they just keep forgetting I'm starting my juice fast. Hahaha So far I have been strong. I think it is also because I see an end goal. I try to watch or read at least 1-2 inspirational YouTube videos or stories every day. It helps to hype my motivation. :0)

I really wish Joe would do an Extended version of "Fat Sick & Nearly Dead" with more of the struggles he or Phil faced and has overcome during the 60 days. :0)

Let's continue to encourage each other...Juice on!! :0)

Oh yes. I wold personally weigh first thing in the morning before having any juice. Our weight fluctuates quite a bit during the day but we are usually at our lightest the first thing in the morning. Best of luck! Sounds like you are doing phenomenal!

Hey Justin, I am starting day 4 today and I have had similar results to you. I try and weigh myself at the same time every day, for me the most consistent is just before I take a shower. I have noticed fluctuation during the day. I have found that it is easier for me to make a few different types of juice but not the complete variety. Some I don't like the taste, but I have found a few I look forward too!
