Day 29 - Goal 60 days

Free for All

Posted by yukon_wn on 6 years ago Hello, This morning, I got on the scale. "What the Sam Hill !" 5 LB Gain @!#@$%! How is this even possible ? I got off the scale and the scale did not go back to zero like it should have. After 30 seconds, the scale displayed an Error message. I moved the scale to another place on the floor and re-weighed myself a few times. Each time, it said - You lost 1 1/2 more LBS :-) Good answer ! To date, I have lost a total of 33 LBS. Tomorrow, I will commence day 30 of my 60 day reboot. I am looking forward to this very much. When I first started my reboot, I thought that I would be lucky, if I made it 10 days. To everyone, take care and I hope that your juicing brings you the health that we all deserve......

What a scary thought to gain 5 pounds. Good thing you tried again. I am on day 22 of 60 and down 18.6 lbs. Diana

Hi Brian, Did you ever hit a point where the scale didn't move? I'm on da 22 and lost 15 pounds. My weight seems to be stagnat for a week. I onl drink grapefruit juice in the morning the green drink for lunch, and a tomato, carrot ad celery drink for dinner. I also drink 96 oz.o water. Any suggestions on how to make the scale move again? Congats on your loss!

Hello, Diana - Way to go. Day 22 ! Fantastic. Dawnd - I only went for a couple of days where the scale didn't change. I have been focusing on the Mean Green drink with slight variations. In the morning, I have the Mean Green but with a higher ratio of fruit. Perhaps, 60-40. For the rest of the day, I follow the 80-20 mix. 80% veggie and 20% fruit. For the 80-20 mix for the Mean Green, I only use 1 apple instead of two. I do 5 juices between 16 - 20 oz each juice. Additionally, I walk between 1 - 1 1/2 miles 5 days a week. I hope that helps budge your scale. Take care and I hope tomorrow's juicing will bring health, energy and balance......

Hi Brian, Thanks for replying so quickly. I also walk 3 miles a day 6 says a week. I'll try using one apple instead of two. Maybe I should eliminate the fruit all together. I'll have to experiment. I also have hypothyroidism so I could never lose a pound. With juicing I was able to at least see some results. Thanks again and keep up the good work! Dawn

One more thing Brian, I only consume 3 drinks per day plus the water and warm water and lemon for breakfast. I know your supposed to drink 6 glasses a day but I can't consume all that. Do you think that has anything to do with my weight loss being stagnant?

Hello, I read an article on this site that said you had to drink enough juice for weight loss. You would think that the less you drink, the more you lose ? Although, the article said that you need to get enough juice to get calories, so your body doesn't go into starvation mode. I have 5 juices a day. Morning, mid-morning, lunch, mid-day, and dinner. Sometimes, I will even have a steamed veggie with my dinner juice. This way, I am completely content for the evening. Watch the veggie/fruit mixture that you use. Make sure that you are getting enough nutrients/vitamins/minerals from them. Depending on what you are juicing, in the long run, I believe that your electrolytes could be impacted. Take care and I hope this was some help to you??
