Day 21 ? Goal 60 days

Free for All

Posted by yukon_wn on 6 years ago Hello, I got on this scale this morning and it finally gave me a 1/2 LB to the positive :-) Down for a total of 24 LBS. This is the first day in a couple of weeks that I don't feel totally pumped. I feel good, although not great. If I didn't know any better, I would accuse my wife of trying to sabotage my reboot. What the heck ! She wanted me to make beef jerky and my legendary smoked spareribs. OK, I capitulated and made them for her. The beef jerky, not a problem. But, I love spareribs. Love, love. As my wife was eating them, she said - you are not going to have these ribs. They are so good. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Even with this, I managed to stay away from them. I don't know, if it is the juicing that is keeping me from getting sick, but my whole family has the flu except for me. If it is the juicing - Thank You juice. Take care and I hope everyone has a good juicing day.

Hi Brian, it is definitely the juice. My entire floor at work just about had the bug and I didn't thanks to the juice. Well done on not giving in. Very proud of you! Brian, Your family would benifit from having one glass of juice a day. My spouse has a pint of juice and we have managed to keep the cold and flu season at bay. I work in a hospital! and He is in the Resturant biz which are both full of germs. Just want to say WOW! Good for you and your power over the RIB. I resisted a huge cookie full of coco chips that my boss of all people offered me. That was actually no problem as my scale announced I'm 50lbs in the red. I have a few months of juicing ahead of me. I'm ready, set, lets go!!!

Hello, Thanks Islandcapricorn. Girlinsantafe - I have been trying to get my family to have some juice. I know that it would do them good. Even though my kids love veggies and fruits, I still want them to eat better. I have been encouraging my wife to not give them mac-and-cheese multiple times a week. My wife came from a culture where everthing is fried, white bread, white pasta and very little veggies. Its hard to shift the cultural ideas about food. But, I keep trying. I do not want my kids to go through what I have, all my life. Take care and I appreciate the comments. Keep on juicing......
