Day 19 and I caved to temptation

This hasn't been easy to reboot on my own, last night on the eve of my 18th night , I caved as I was out getting a few needed things for my place , the fat guy in my yanked the steering wheel into the Jack in the box drive thru and had a burger , no fries or soda just the burger. The bread was nasty, though, that greasy burger it was like a instant jolt to my system, I was energized , the groggy fog went away almost immediately. So many years of being a trained meat eater, this is a major change to say the least.

I am now out of all fresh veggies other than some ginger and flax seed and some frozen fruit until the end of the week when I can afford to restock as best I can with a limited budget.

The other thing is I have a plastic hunk of junk Ninja Auto IQ with very limited capacity and not a real juicer. So coming up with the proper measurements for portions has been tough with a 32oz blender cup. I have just been winging it so far. & I can't afford to juice 10 lbs of produce a day...

I need to find a balanced plan that will work with my budget as well as reduce the hunger pains and balance things out for me. I have come to the realization that I need to incorporate a meal whether it's at lunch or dinner, even if it's just salad and fruit or a light plant based meal.

I guess I am reaching out for some advice, support and just venting

The upshot is I have lost 23 pounds in the 19 days , so there is that.

    Hey Chris,

Hats off and respect for doing anything, plenty of people could not of done what you have.

The reboot tool has done its job and got you going in the right direction, 23lbs in 19 days is beast.

The long term is where the real work gets done so why not get cracking.

Transition off the reboot and work with what you have.

The Auto IQ is a blender so smoothies can be made, whole fruits, salads, soups etc…can be inexpensive and will keep you on track as well as keeping you fuller, bring the rest in as funds allow.

Remember the long term objective is to thrive.

23 pounds lost, wow how exciting! If you get days where you need a snack just go to this website Joe Reboot, we are on, he has a recipe section for lots of healthy eating. See our problem all of us on this site, is not being strong as much as not knowing how to eat. That is why we are all fat, sick and nearly dead. So when I fell of the wagon, I had a tabouli salad and a cup of healthy tomato sauce fresh. Then just went on juicing. I have also told myself that food is not my friend and not eating at all is preferable to eating, period. You got to try cocunut water it is delicious and low calorie and a little sweet. Keep going just make it a bad dream you had....lol This is about your whole life and now you need to start to eat healthy. You need to rethink food forever. xxoxooxo

still going strong, though the official "reboot" kind of stopped on day 18 when I started implementing dinners to curb hunger pains and stay energized. I am border line diabetic so I was getting very shaky and weak and my vision was blurry , as much as I need to cleanse my system I didn't want to collapse or worse either.

I am now 24 days in 25lbs down , pants are fallling off and my energy levels are through the roof.

I am awaiting for delivery next week of my new juicer and I will begin again on a full reboot .

On a side note~ I got myself removed from the facebook group for posting a free link to the book the china study for people to read online... No warning, No asking to remove the link nothing. It's all good , just a shame that I wasn't approached or warned just dumped after a month of making connections with fellow rebooters on there.. That's ok , I will survive

What A-holes those FB guys are honestly I hope they go out of business, they delted a page site of mine once that was uncommercial but they did not like the content and I have over 6 pages with 100,000 of followers, we people make them who they are. Anyway I think what they are trying to do is drive you to open one of their business pages, go check it out. It maybe fee connected but I do not think it is much.

Glad about your weight loss I am totally green eyed and you have not even started juicing yet. Yes please listen to your body. Dizzy is just a sign to take it easy. I am only down 8 pounds but it is my 8th day. Happy Jucing xoxoxoxo P.S. I belong to a group with more voices you might like, sorry for that large font it just came that way when I posted it...lol

Yeah please do share, I am trying to absorb all the information ,inspiration and connections I can, surround myself with like minded people. Honestly, the reason I think they just out right banned me, was because it was a book from a "competitor" of sorts and would take away from their profits or maybe they though I was advertising? doesn't matter it's all good. Either way, I welcome any new groups/ sites you have.

Congrats on the 8 days, it will turn to 18 then 28 , we got this :)

Keep it going Chris. Don't let slip ups fool you into thinking you failed and you should just go back to your old ways (Comfort zone). Focus on the WHY and the how will fall into place. Good luck!
