This is for those starting out. I am 4 days away from the end of a 30 day juice program (self guided) and I am a very happy camper. I had tried Whole 30 and intermittent fasting just before and neither led to any weight loss. I was probably (my scale had broken-so I'm not sure) 158. I am now 145. I'm not at my goal, but I am so happy to not be trapped in my fat suit any longer. It was very slow and frustrating at first. I didn't realize just how much I wanted the weight off. I started out with a 15 day fast and thought I'd try 5 more days because I didn't feel like I had lost enough, then kept going.. I followed the Reboot with Joe book religiously until day 21 when you are allowed to improvise. This was great for me, because some day you just feel like certain vegetables. I got sickish one day with lots of diarrhea and was wondering if I should go off, but the funny thing is that the juice is the best medicine. I allowed myself the most gentle juices that day with a bit more gentle fruits (watermelon) and the next day I felt like I was kindly led back to health. The hardest thing will be stopping, but my last day is our anniversary, so as bad a thing to do as it is, I am going to go off with our celebratory dinner.

    Well done to you, that’s an amazing achievement I’m kind of at the opposite end of the journey, 4 days in but I’ve set myself the goal of only 10 days so feel like a bit of a fraud, if it continues to be so good I may carry on for a few more days. I’m going on holiday on the 22nd of September so I’m a bit worried im going to undo some of my good work, but I’m going to try to keep to veg and fish. I already feel so much better. I have a lot more weight than you to lose, I started at 172lbs and I’m only 5ft 1, I need to be around 125lbs really, so still a long way to go. Any tips you have on attending social events would be gratefully received. Take care Sue

    Thank you for sharing! I am only two days into a 30-day reboot. It's good to read the success of others. I'm already tired of drinking juice but I know if I hang in there the benefits will be great.
