Hang in there champ! I actually started today with a starting weight of 289lbs. It is a tough task but I figure if I can get through today than I can also get through tomorrow. I think my motivation is going to be watching the pounds shed which will give me more incentive to follow through. Furthermore, I have learned a few tricks with juicing and also making it through the day.

Day 1 was a lot tougher than I thought. I still have a headache I can't get rid of, I had bouts of nausea, and I absolutely hated the green juice I made. I over did it with the ginger and lemons and I won't be using those two ingredients again. I must admit I ate food for dinner. Tomorrow I will try an do better. I've already juiced for tomorrow and I can tell you I made it without the juice and it tastes so much better.

    Hey girl!

Yes, I can honestly say I feel a lot different than when I started at day 1. The main difference is that I no longer have the bad cramping in my stomach. That was mostly on day one and some of day two. My scale says I am down by 9 pounds ( gotta stop checking that thing ) and I don't feel as hungry as I thought I would be. I mean, don't get me wrong, I want to eat but I think it is more mental than anything cause I am not even hungry. That is the hardest part for me to overcome but I'm doing it. I do feel better also. I'm not going to say that I noticed signs with my health but I FEEL better. It's only day four so I am expecting new things to come.

Cant wait for you to get on bored! A tip for you...now that you have your juicer, light that baby up and start experimenting with different juices! See what you like and what you don't like. That way you can go in on day one knowing what you like. I suggest trying Joe's mean green juice first. I actually like it. i always add a extra green apple in there. Kale is awesome to!!! I even eat it in my salads.

Also, when following those instructions from the book, it is just a guide. Use the basic stuff, taste it, and add a little more of the things you like to make it to your liking. Just remember...80% Veggies and 20% Juice!!! For breakfast I do it in reverse :)

    Good luck to ya dear!

Hey, thats cool! You or should I say we are on our way. What made you buy that particular juicer. I am going shopping tomorrow however I did the 15 day challange which begins at the end of the month being that I am on the East Coast. I need to stay full so I hope I can make this happen. Being partners should make it that much easier. I look forward to losing weight with you and becoming the person we always wanted to be.

Hi there. I did this challenge before and stuck it out for 17 days and lost 13lbs. My advice is to keep it simple. Juice more mean green juices and one fruit juice a day. That way you won't be spending a lot of money. Buy in bulk like at Sams club or BJ's. I like BJ's cause they have organic veggies and fruits. Mason jars are good, but with a Breville juicer and since its a fast spinning one, two days would be the longest I would keep them in there. Fill them to the rim to avoid any air from being in there and cover them up with a dark towel while in the fridge. Drink plenty of water while on this fast. Keep in mind if you develop headaches or skin rashes it's because you are detoxing and that's when you need to up your water intake. That will pass. I'm getting my items this weekend as well. Let's motivate each other:)
