I juiced for a little over 30 days, and lost about 20 lbs., then sadly slipped back into my old habits for about a week. Well here I go again, I still need to lose another 20lbs and am going to stick to this with the help of others in this community. My family is supportive, but they continue to eat the things I desire. I love them but it can be a strugglre, so I am going to lean on all of you in this community. Thanks ahead of time.
- About: Hello, I've never really eaten much pork and especially seafood just everything else and lots of it. I also got away with it until I hit my 30's. I decided last year I was not going to eat meat anymore. I'm good with that, no struggle there. But, what I realized is that I can not live healthy as a vegetarian eating dairy. Dairy is my weakness and I eat way way to much of it. I don't like to cook and it's so easy and tasty to reach for the cheese etc. So, I started taking vegan cooking classes and ate an organic whole food plant based diet (WFPB)for about 6 months. Lost weight, felt great! Then life happened and my stress soared. I went back to being vegetarian. Gained the weight back, feel miserable! I am in need of healing, both physically and mentally, and I truly believe juicing can be my cure. I am not sure what my ultimate answer for great health is, but I do know how to start the journey. Juicing! :)
- Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I'm back on Reboot to try and stay focused while I am juicing. I feel so weak and sickly I hardly have the strength to try. Any help will be of great value. I have so much to live for. But if I can't turn my life around, I know I'll be shortening it considerably and missing out on so much.

GOAL: Eat to live, not live to eat!
I juiced for 14 days and am ready to switch to juicing all day and eating dinner with my family in the evenings. If I don't keep losing weight it's back to the fasting!
Wow! Day 8! I'm jealous!!! I feel like the time is going by so slow. And with all this energy I have, it goes slower. Ugh! Thanks for your post. I had just commented on how hungry I was and now that I've entertained myself with these posts, it has gone away. Juice on!

This group is for anyone who is striving to eat and drink only plants. We all know that a plant-based whole-foods diet is the healthiest way to eat, a la Drs. Ornish, McDougall, Esselstyn, Furhman, Caldwell, Campbell, etc. It can prevent and even cure many diseases. I have tried a couple times to fully transition to a plant-based whole-foods diet and have not yet succeeded. I am giving it another go and would love to give and receive support from like-minded people. I have watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead," "Forks Over Knives," and other documentaries, and I'm really inspired! Will you join me?

JOIN ME!!! I have a challenge for us... Let's do this for 30 days!! If you fall off just get back up!! But see... We WON'T fall off! Let's prove to ourselves that we are capable of doing this. LET'S BE A TEAM! Let's start living a healthier lifestyle. You even being on this site is already a start. I need some motivation and I can motivate you as well. Let's help eachother out. Let's stop trying and start doing. It may be hard but it isn't impossible. WE can work together and push eachother. On our days when we feel like giving up, let's speak up and seek some words of encouragement. I'm starting today but even if you see this post late, STILL join. I will push you and help you reach your goals. If you're not joining, I would appreciate any advice or any words to motivate or inspire me. I'm on day one and I'm fighting! I'll be posting my recipes and experience day by day until WE reach 30 days. If you stop after 30 days, don't go back to old habits! EAT HEALTHIER and excersice. Do it for your own good. Love yourself enough to make this change. Question for you... Do you want to be happier? Do you want to feel more energy? Live longer? Be able to do things you were never able to? THEN START TODAY AND SEE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. I know you want to look into the mirror and see a difference for once. Trust yourself and give this your all. Change begins with YOU.
