  • About: Hello, I've never really eaten much pork and especially seafood just everything else and lots of it. I also got away with it until I hit my 30's. I decided last year I was not going to eat meat anymore. I'm good with that, no struggle there. But, what I realized is that I can not live healthy as a vegetarian eating dairy. Dairy is my weakness and I eat way way to much of it. I don't like to cook and it's so easy and tasty to reach for the cheese etc. So, I started taking vegan cooking classes and ate an organic whole food plant based diet (WFPB)for about 6 months. Lost weight, felt great! Then life happened and my stress soared. I went back to being vegetarian. Gained the weight back, feel miserable! I am in need of healing, both physically and mentally, and I truly believe juicing can be my cure. I am not sure what my ultimate answer for great health is, but I do know how to start the journey. Juicing! :)
  • Why I've Joined Reboot with Joe: I'm back on Reboot to try and stay focused while I am juicing. I feel so weak and sickly I hardly have the strength to try. Any help will be of great value. I have so much to live for. But if I can't turn my life around, I know I'll be shortening it considerably and missing out on so much.

Come be inspired and inspiring!

Maybe you have been searching for healthier vegetable and fruit-based alternatives to feed your family during your own juice feast. If so, good for you!! With obesity rates SOARING around the world (children included), there is no better time to make health a priority for every single body in your home (including your pet!!). And for those who are letting food serve as a source of "medicine" for the ills that plague the body, here's to living a STRONG life! Welcome aboard!! There are no "wagons" from which to fall off in here...just an open roundtable for exchanging nutritious plant-based food and drink ideas. So feel free to post your thoughts, recipes and pictures. Everyone is more than welcome to contribute to the "clean" eating that I hope we can accomplish and share. Each one, reach out and teach one!! Vegetables (both land and sea) are the focus, but ideas and recipes for fruit-based dishes are also welcome. So...grab your aprons and let the banging of pots and pans begin!! Cheers to a wealth of good health!! (As this is a site for encouraging maximum health and healing, please try to share ideas for dishes that DO NOT contain large amounts of the following ingredients: animal products, seafood, milk/dairy, cheese, eggs, processed food, creams, butter, excess table salt or sugar, white flour, white rice or cooking oil. Thank you so very much for your understanding and kind cooperation!!).

This group is for anyone who is striving to eat and drink only plants. We all know that a plant-based whole-foods diet is the healthiest way to eat, a la Drs. Ornish, McDougall, Esselstyn, Furhman, Caldwell, Campbell, etc. It can prevent and even cure many diseases. I have tried a couple times to fully transition to a plant-based whole-foods diet and have not yet succeeded. I am giving it another go and would love to give and receive support from like-minded people. I have watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead," "Forks Over Knives," and other documentaries, and I'm really inspired! Will you join me?

Calling out to anyone who would like to join us in losing those extra pounds, keeping it off and celebrating this life like you have always dreamed of. You will find this group very approachable & friendly (most importantly non judgmental and supportive) with many veteran juicers as well as newbies, all in it together...juicing our way to good health and happiness! Here at Sunshine Clubbe we consider this a journey for life, not just another "diet plan" which will end one day. We are working towards a lifestyle change, so that we do not go back to our old eating habits and put back all the lost weight. We Sunshiners believe in spreading warmth...care...kindness...love and peace. We know we can do it. Lets do it together!!!
