Hey guys! I am on day 9 of I don`t know yet juice fast. How is everyone doing? I am getting great results and not drinking coffee which is huge for me! However, I am thinking of food a lot! When does that go away? I am sure that, like many, I still have to cook meals for my daughter and dinner is the hardest.

Congrats Marie on making it to Day 10! That's awesome. To curb my food cravings, I put MCT oil (or butter) in my morning coffee, drink hibiscus tea in the afternoon (lowers BP), and in the evenings I'll have a peppermint tea or any tea with no caffeine that relaxes me. I also have to cook for my daughter. Her plate is almost vegan now, lol.

Fellow Canadians: I started juicing and following Joe on Facebook a few years ago. It's been a fantastic journey and I feel good! On October 16, 2016 I completed my first marathon. I only get one cold/flu a year now. I'm off all my prescription medications and my blood work has never been better. No more need for a doctor except for an annual wellness check. I'm turning 54 this week. If I can do it, so can you! Good luck.

That is too cool, Gary, congrats!! I'm still pretty new at this, and struggling at times but it really helps to see accomplishments like yours. Thanks for the inspiration! =)

Hey everyone! I'm on Day 5 of 7 of my first ever reboot. My first few days went surprisingly smoothly. I didn't have any of the negative symptoms that Joe and many others experienced. I had energy to exercise and no digestive issues.

But now on my fifth day I'm a bit concerned. I've had a headache all day and very low energy. I'm drinking lots of water and started drinking coconut water today because I heard it helps with these symptoms. I'm not having any of the positive effects that so many people have reported. I'm just hungry all the time and craving every food I always have (healthy or not). I'm feeling pretty discouraged and am wondering if it's worth completing the last two days. Any help is much appreciated!

Joe was ill for 5 days while toxins left his body. Sounds like your toxins are leaving on Day 5. I was feeling crappy after Christmas from all the junk I ate so I decided to do a 12 day cleanse. On Day 4 I was very ill with an all-day headache on Day 5. Then I got better and felt fantastic afterward and still do! Keep going and hang in there, you're about to feel fully charged!

Hi everybody! I'm excited to be here!!

I am on day 4 of my reboot and haven't lost any weight yet. :(

I juice 3 times a day (mostly vegetable), but feel that I am really struggling to drink all that water. I'm getting frustrated and ready to give up. I am also exercising for about 15 minutes a day.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips that they've used to help get all that water down? I'm getting frustrated but don't want to quit....

    Thanks!! :)

Hey Lindsey, congrats on day 4! You are past the hard part =)

At first blush I think your issue might be not enough juice, especially if you are doing juice-only. Common recommendations say 4 to 5 16oz juices per day, and at least the same volume of water per day. Alternate juice and water, but don't try to drink them back to back. Most often a lack of results is due to not enough water, but you might also be not getting enough nutrients since you are only drinking 3 juices. If you don't get enough nutrients your body might go into starvation mode and stubbornly hang on to everything its already got.

I know it seems counter-intuitive, and is really just the thoughts of a fellow juicer (far from expert) but I think you need to drink more. If it helps at all, I found it easier to drink the water very warm, nearly hot, with lemon in it.

Good luck! You can do this =)

    Hi everyone,

I'm finishing up day 36. 24 to go... Things have become so routine and matter of fact that I really don't have much to add at this point Making the juices, eating occasional salads, drinking the water and some spicy onion broth soup for the heat 'cause I'm always cold, and power walking every morning. I can see the finish line so I'm hanging in there even though I'm ready to eat everything in sight! lol Feel amazing though so it's all good.

Sunshine Coast, BC. Thank goodness for this help! I loved the documentary. I used a Vitamix and eat the whole veggie and fruit as a thick liquid.. I also add some protein powder without sugar. Have to remember to drink extra water as the body is getting rid of lots of water. Lost 3 pounds and feeling so much better. Sometimes I'm super hungry for sure. I sip more smoothie. Best to all !
