    Now at age 54 I have let myself go back to where I was at the beginning 2 years ago. This morning I weighed in at 301 lbs. Day one of my way back to a healthy lifestyle. I am doing a guided 5 day reboot to get myself back on the way to good health. This time I am calling what I am doing a "Refocus, Reboot, and Rebuild" path. Up to September 2015 I was doing fairly well. I had to do a buisness trip at the beginning of September and that is where I lost my focus. I gained back over 30 lbs. Not good. I saw the signs of poor health returning. My focus on family and work started dwindling. I have pictures of me during that time period that I just cannot make myself look at. This will be my second long reboot. I have juice fasted in the past and used it as a tool to maintain my weight to where I wanted it to be. This time when I finish I will not allow myself to return to this state. I have set several goals this year. I will look forward to sharing as the year goes by. Juice on!

    Hi group. I am preparing for a juice fast for at least 5 days and maybe 10. Last year I did a 43 day on and list 25lbs but slowly it has bed. Creeping back even being plant based vegan. The carbs get to me! I hate to think to do another long one but I have to be careful as my blood count is low so I will need to stay on my iron pills. I am excited to get past the first few days. ;). Love having a group support thanks for being here.

    Day 1 - Not feeling at all hungry, got myself organised this morning, juices made in advance for work, gym kit packed for lunchtime session.. and I was out of breath when I arrived at the door of the gym, before my 30 minute workout even started, how bad is that! I have managed to totally avoid going into the staff kitchen, people brought in post Christmas treats etc.. so I stayed clean and away from any temptations. I have a long journey ahead, but every journey starts with a single step. Got myself weighed at the gym as I exceed my bathroom scales, it was a shock I can tell you.. but this time next week, I'll be lighter than I am today.. watch this space! Now I have a bit of a headache, so one more juice to have tonight and I think, plenty of water to get rid of the sore head... Good luck to all fellow 2015 re-booters - juice on!

    I just began the reboot for New Years 2015! I do not have a full day yet, I just started tonight at dinner. But I am doing it. One of our kids fried chicken while I juiced! Last year at this time I was juicing and smoothie-ing, but it has been a while. I know this week is going to be a pain. I know my body is toxic:( But, I do remember how my body felt when I was juicing. I know that I want to feel that way again. We are beginning the new year off with a 21 day fast. So, I have decided to reboot: mind, body, and spirit. I am thankful that there is now a community of juicers online. I hope to be successful during this fast. I would like to get off meds, and come April we will try and conceive. I thought what a great way to prepare.

    Day 3. Day 2 I started having the GI events I knew were coming. I also think I have a lung infection.



    But not too many headaches and for the most part doing well.

    Day 2 Yesterday was easy, was not hungry till I started looking at recipes on Pinterest. Lost 2 lbs! I was shocked, hope it stays off.



    Today I just woke up, and took a walk and am having an orange tea (No tea just herbs)

    Hi all! I just started a 5 day fast (Gotta go back to work Monday) I am doing a colon cleansing and parasite cleanse at the same time. This is my first fast and cleanse so I am nervous.



    I have been juicing for a few months to replace snacks and breakfast and eating clean, but slacked off a bit after Thanksgiving, but worked out some time and storage issues that I was using as an excuse.



    Ready to get my butt in gear and start eating healthier and maybe add an exercise plan too!
