Hi group. I am preparing for a juice fast for at least 5 days and maybe 10. Last year I did a 43 day on and list 25lbs but slowly it has bed. Creeping back even being plant based vegan. The carbs get to me! I hate to think to do another long one but I have to be careful as my blood count is low so I will need to stay on my iron pills. I am excited to get past the first few days. ;). Love having a group support thanks for being here.

Day 1 - Not feeling at all hungry, got myself organised this morning, juices made in advance for work, gym kit packed for lunchtime session.. and I was out of breath when I arrived at the door of the gym, before my 30 minute workout even started, how bad is that! I have managed to totally avoid going into the staff kitchen, people brought in post Christmas treats etc.. so I stayed clean and away from any temptations. I have a long journey ahead, but every journey starts with a single step. Got myself weighed at the gym as I exceed my bathroom scales, it was a shock I can tell you.. but this time next week, I'll be lighter than I am today.. watch this space! Now I have a bit of a headache, so one more juice to have tonight and I think, plenty of water to get rid of the sore head... Good luck to all fellow 2015 re-booters - juice on!

I just began the reboot for New Years 2015! I do not have a full day yet, I just started tonight at dinner. But I am doing it. One of our kids fried chicken while I juiced! Last year at this time I was juicing and smoothie-ing, but it has been a while. I know this week is going to be a pain. I know my body is toxic:( But, I do remember how my body felt when I was juicing. I know that I want to feel that way again. We are beginning the new year off with a 21 day fast. So, I have decided to reboot: mind, body, and spirit. I am thankful that there is now a community of juicers online. I hope to be successful during this fast. I would like to get off meds, and come April we will try and conceive. I thought what a great way to prepare.

Day 3. Day 2 I started having the GI events I knew were coming. I also think I have a lung infection.

But not too many headaches and for the most part doing well.

Day 2 Yesterday was easy, was not hungry till I started looking at recipes on Pinterest. Lost 2 lbs! I was shocked, hope it stays off.

Today I just woke up, and took a walk and am having an orange tea (No tea just herbs)

Hi all! I just started a 5 day fast (Gotta go back to work Monday) I am doing a colon cleansing and parasite cleanse at the same time. This is my first fast and cleanse so I am nervous.

I have been juicing for a few months to replace snacks and breakfast and eating clean, but slacked off a bit after Thanksgiving, but worked out some time and storage issues that I was using as an excuse.

Ready to get my butt in gear and start eating healthier and maybe add an exercise plan too!

Hello to all the rebooters. I've been struggling to stick with a ten day reboot. I've succeeded three time but lately I'm finding it difficult. I get frustrated, but mañana I'm biting the bullet and doing the fast no matter what. When juice fasting I feel so much better physically, emotionally, and yes spiritually. The body is the temple of G-d and I intent to treat it as such. I wish you all Via Con Dios.

Day two! Yesterday was relatively easy going. No temptation. Today is similar. I know the temptations will come but I feel confident they will pass. I had mild head aches and a sleepless night but this is expected. I started at 281 and this morning 278. Encouraging.

Day 3. I've been drinking 3 16 oz juices a day. One fruit juice for breakfast and 2 vegetable juices for lunch and dinner. No temptations to break the fast. Thank you HP. Headaches left yesterday and I slept a tad better last night. Looking forward to a solid 8 hours of sleep, which never occurred while bingeing. I continue to watch all of Joe Cross' videos as they arrive, and also the documentary 'Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead'. I lost count how many times I viewed it. Each time I see something new and inspirational.

Day 4. I'm very pleased, the temptation to eat hasn't happened so far. Still drinking pretty much the same juice daily. Not really interested in recipes, although I did copy one down from this great site and bought all the ingrediants for tomorrow. It's named 'Crimson Z(g)inger'. Includes beets. Re exercise, I've been taking my humble bike out in the morning for a gentle ride and walking 15-20' at night (actually it's more of a stroll). I weigh 272 Lbs. so that's a 9 Lb loss. Mostly water I'm sure but encouraging none the less. Below is my bike trail.

This group is helping me apparently. This morning I weighed in at 270 Lbs. I made the above recipe and it surprised me how tasty it was. Oranges were a good ingredient for the delicious flavor. Sorry about the above photo. Don't know why it's on its side, maybe the MB size. If anyone is actually reading this I wish you much aloha and good health.

Day 6 behind me. No weight loss today, maybe tomorrow. I'm amazed I haven't been attacked by a temptation to binge. Could it be the support I'm receiving from the access to this site. Im blessed with a 'like' on each of my comments. Thank you mystery person. If it works don't fix it.

Day 7. On this celebratory day of my Celtic ancestors and patron saint I wish you all God speed. St. Patrick wasn't Irish strangely enough btw.

I broke below 270! I've juice fasted in the past and this one has been smooth sailing thank you HP. If you are struggling hang in there. 'If you are going through hell, please don't stop'.

    @ Lia,

I have mainly salads... However, I have made Thai soup, and a socca... Both posts on my wall.

I know I have been slack and not posting pics, but just soooooo busy with other stuff... Portfolios and photos from iPad and camera transferred to both usb in files and hard copy portfolio folders for parents... Huge job when you have thousands of photos. I must indulge myself and buy a mac as they make finding kids individual faces a lot easier.

hello juicers :). After losing 6 kilos in a little over 10 days on the New Years reboot, I have fallen by the way side following a trip overseas. This post serves as an intention to begin juicing again tomorrow for 10 days straight. I am looking forward to renewed vibrancy, energy and confidence! Will commit to posting my progress for support. :). Wishing you all success in your journey.
