I am starting a 30+ day reboot today! There's no time like the present, right!?! Any fellow juicers out there who are also starting today?
A bit about myself:
I'm 31, living outside of Austin, TX, married and the mother to 3 young and extremely energetic sons. In June of 2012, I was at my max weight, 234 lbs, and I was absolutely miserable. I had no self esteem, I felt like a failure and I hated myself. I was an addict to unhealthy foods and I used those foods as coping skills for whatever mood I was in. If I was happy, I'd celebrate by getting my favorite fast food. If I was worried or stressed out, I'd run to fried foods. Proud of myself for losing a couple pounds? Celebrate with unhealthy processed junk, of course! I was hooked. Then I saw FS&ND in January of 2013 and it changed my life. I did a TON of research and started my 40 day reboot in February. Since then, juicing has been part of my daily life. Thanks to eating clean and juicing, I've been able to maintain that weight loss. I'm actually starting out this reboot at the same weight I ended with during my first reboot!
I still have about 25-30 more pounds to lose before my goal weight. I've considered just juicing until I reach my goal...but I'm not sure. I am going to commit to at least 30 days and then I will re-evaluate. I've personally tried starting out with smaller goals and I don't tend to do as well with those.
I will be starting off the morning with my absolute favorite juice: Anti-Cellulite juice. It's one green apple, one grapefruit, 2-4 sticks of celery (I prefer 4 now, but started off with just 2), and mint. The mint really does add to the drink, too. This juice is a go-to juice of mine because it truly helps me shed the weight (I call it the Fat Shredder) due to the grapefruit and celery.
