Juicer vs. Nutribullet

Ask the Nutritionist

Posted by donaldgraham on 1 year ago I have both the nutribullet and the breville juicer - they basicly do the same thing except the nutribullet pulverizes the pulp as well wheras the juicer seperates the juice and pulp. Are both methods acceptable or is juicing the only way?

Hi Stacey: It is a pleasure to be able to contact you. My question is if you are doing nutribullet drinks for 60 days (I'm on day 18) since in Joe's video on youtube said that if you are not straight juicing then you are eating, after 60 days do I have to transition off plans as I would if I was juicing or can I just start right away eating small portions of everything healthy? I want know for future. Also my plan is to go 30 days nutribullet and 30 days juicing. Just to get a taste in both worlds. What do you think about my plan? I hope my question makes sense. Thanks for your help here!!!!

Hi Jane, great question! Your transition off nutribullet will be easier than juice but still we suggset the process of gradually re introducing solid foods and foods that are more complex to digest - http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/after-the-reboot-next-steps-for-transitioning-to-a-healthy-plant-based-diet/ I think your plan sounds great! Be sure and check with your doctor by 30 days to be sure you are getting all that you need and you're not at risk for any deficiencies if you plan to go for 60 days total.

The FAQ's address using a blender vs juicing not the nutribullet. Any input on that item?
