2nd day and I feel terrible!!!

Ask the Nutritionist

Posted by shanniedp on 4 years ago So I'm having a Cesar salad with tuna!! No croutons! Yesterday I felt like I had more energy than I've had in years I was elated!! Today I woke up with a headache and finally 4 hours later I took Advil. I am also a bit of a drinker and have had nothing in 2 days. My goal is to loose 35-40 lbs I'm 4'11 and weighed in yesterday at 163lbs. :(. And I'll be 49 in December. I just need help and reassurance that I'm doing this correctly. Thanks!!

Hi shanniedp - glad you are feeling better and hope your headache has passed. be sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day and plenty of veggies and juice or smoothies too. Try to get some extra rest - coconut water has electrolytes and can help headaches and so can herbal tea or hot water with ginger and lemon. Stopping drinking or caffeine quickly or even a rapid change in eating habit can cause headache at first but this tends to pass after a few days so hang in there - keep us posted!
